You need to verify your student status
You must be at least 18 years old to book the student rate and prove you are a student by showing a valid Swedish student ID and ID card when checking in at the hotel. The student IDs that provide a discount at Scandic are Studentkortet, Mecenat, or ISIC card. If you cannot prove you are a student with one of these IDs at check-in, you will not be able to stay at the discounted rate and will instead be offered a room at the regular price for that day. You must also be a member of Scandic Friends to stay at this discount.
Terms and conditions
The offer is subject to availability and applies to a limited number of rooms at hotels in Sweden, except for Scandic Go, Upplandsgatan 4 and Scandic Go, Sankt Eriksgatan 20. The offer is only valid for Scandic Friends members over 18 years old who have a valid student ID. The student IDs that provide a discount at Scandic are Studentkortet, Mecenat, or ISIC card. You can book up to 60 days before arrival and stay a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. You may book 1 room per stay with the number of people that can fit in the room, and you, as the booker, must be a staying guest and show your IDs according to our requirements (i.e., at least 18 years old, a member of Scandic Friends, and have a valid student ID) at check-in. If you cannot prove you are a student with one of these IDs at check-in, you will not be able to stay at the discounted rate and will instead be offered a room at the regular price for that day. You can cancel your room by 6:00 PM on the day of arrival. The discount is up to 40% off regular flexible prices (i.e., cancellable prices) when you book here on our website with the code STUDENT. The discount is only bookable via our website or app.
